About UsSunshine Beach is located just south of Noosa National Park on the Sunshine Coast (Qld). It is an open beach, at times quite dangerous. We have a total of 11 patrols with 6-12 members each. There are over 300 Active Members (Nippers, Cadets, Juniors & Seniors). Sunshine Coast Branch patrol season runs from the beginning of the September school holidays and stops on the Monday of the May long weekend. Flagged patrolled area at Sunshine Beach with mobile patrols to North Sunshine, Alexandra Bay (in Noosa National Park) and Sunrise Beaches. Junior Activities (Nippers) play an integral part of the Club Activities, boasting a total of 185 Nippers for the 2007/08 season. The Supporters Club plays a vital role in financially supporting the active side of the Club. To date we have well over 2500 Supporters Club members, with new memberships coming in every day. Sunshine Beach being a mainly residential area, the Club's focus is the patrolling of the local beach, helping the community and visitors alike to enjoy the beach and water in safety.
