About being a Lifesaver
Becoming a surf life saver requires an above average level of fitness and also commitment.
Sunshine Beach is known for it's huge seas and dangerous sea conditions and has a high number of swimmers each summer. As a result, it is expected that a high level of fitness is maintained all year round.
Our primary function is to provide a life saving service to Sunshine Beach in accordance with the charter of Surf Life Saving Association of Australia (SLSA). Sunshine Beach SLSC takes this responsibility seriously, and requires its members to accept the certain obligations, which are listed in the club member handbook.
To become an active member please complete the following forms and return to the Club reception with payment of annual fees.
